Trying to get PCAnywhere 12.0 Crossplatform to install on Gentoo. I start it by typing

java -jar SetupLinuxMac.jar

as per the readme file. I step through the install, progress bar hits 100% and then I get

Code:

No JVM found

I have the 1.6 JRE and JDK installed, java plugins work in Firefox. The readme says that the JVM must be in $PATH, but I can 'java -version' from a terminal so I'm assuming (?) that I have the correct directories in $PATH via symlinks and whatnot.

Has anyone else been down this path and gotten the install to complete successfully?
