It's my first time trying to setup Gentoo, help. :)
EDIT: Ok, friend said that this could be because of GCC 4.3.0. Any ideas how to fix it?

You'd be better off not using arts. It's buggy and was abandoned by its developer a while ago (although the KDE team still supports it). Using straight ALSA for your audio will be fine. If you really need a sound daemon, people seem to have taken a liking to PulseAudio, although I can't argue its benefits either way.
Unless you have a good reason to keep it (doesn't sound like it, it's just there by default), add "-arts" to your USE flags in /etc/make.conf and run 'emerge -uNa world' to rebuild any packages with arts support (which might be none since arts isn't even compiled yet!). |

Ty for the tip, added -arts to my make.conf. :)
By the way, tried to compile 3.5.9 - and it worked just fine.
