Hi, I've installed fvwm-crystal and I have some configuration issues.
1- I need to change some default keybindings because my keyboard hasn't got those keys. For example, to change the modifier key alt, I copied the /usr/share/fvwm-crysta/fvwm/components/functions/KeyboardModifiers to ~/.fvwm-crystal/components/functions/ and modified the one in my home dir. That worked ok. Then I needed to modified the QuakeConsole key which is in bindings/misc-keybindings. I did the same, but it didn't work. Sometimes it works, but when I restart it stops working.
I also tried to make a new recipe and adding misc-keybinding as an include with no luck. Is there a man page about this? How is suppose to be done?
2- Moving the wheel to change desktops doesn't work unless I do it on the pager. Changing desktops moving the mouse to the border of the screen has no effect unless I click on the desktop with the wheel before.
3- I can't run Audacious in normal mode, it disappears instantly, I tried to remove it from functions but it stills do as default configuration.
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated. |

I told you how to do this on IRC. Can you show me what's in your bindings/misc-keybindings file?

What focus policy are you using?

Yet another Audacious bug most likely.
Oh, and for the record, your impatience is pissing me off. If you can't diligently wait for an answer, the next time you pose a question, I won't answer it.

| ok, sorry for the fuzz. The problem with the keybindings was just that I needeed to add the same in the Misc-Keybindings_Numlock file. To solve the Audacious thing I just deleted the audacious config. I'm using fvwm-crystal focus policy,, I couldn't get the others to work. When I'm done understanding how this work I will add it to the wiki. |
