Hello,

trying to recompile my kernel, and getting an error:

well, actually this is a 2.6 kernel, but still get this error:

Umm... I haven't seen this problem before, but my first reaction would be to check the .config file. Would you please post it?

Thanks for the response.
I am going to switch this machine over to the Hardened Gentoo project.
If I get similar errors. I will post them.

Switched to a newer kernel, and recompiled - all is well..
