This is a new install running amd64 profile.

I have the same problem when I tried to update x11 with the opengl use flag.
I'm also running amd64 _________________ We'll... Prosper... WITH TRACTORS!!!

It has to do with using opengl while building the cairo package. If you install cairo with -opengl as a USE flag, then gtkglarea is no longer a dependency (at least in running an emerge xfce4). So the solution is to build cairo without the opengl use flag for the time being. |
