Hi guys,
I'm getting back to Gentoo because I need a good distro for my embedded system. I built it using the VIA VB-7001G mainboard. Gentoo 2007.0 performs just fine! However I'm having some problems with the hardware sensors: I've compiled the vt1211 driver as a module and configured lm-sensors. Unfortunately the CPU temperature formula in the configuration file is wrong and shows me a negative temperature (~-70 °C). The configuration file lists some Offset for other CPU's but not the one embedded on this mainboard (VIA C7 Esther)! Commenting the "compute" line out makes lm-sensors showing a probable value (~35 °C) but I'm not sure it is correct.
Anyone has the same I/O Chip with the C7 CPU? _________________ Bye,
Axel. |
