ebtables POSTROUTING and Xen VIF byte count mismatch

Hello!

The cause is possibly trivial and obvious to those who know well about these things, but I wonder why I have a byte count mismatch between the XEN VIF counter (ifconfig output in dom0) of a VM and the ebtables POSTROUTING rule counter that matches all of the traffic leaving the Xen bridge in dom0 towards the VM through the same VIF. One additional note: the packet count ist identical!
