Hi,
I have a dell lattitude d510 laptop. I donot use hardware monitoring, apart from i8k and dcdbas modules. Can I safely remove I2C and HWMON support in kernel? At present these have been compiled in as modules and my lsmod doesn't list any of the I2C or HWMON modules.
thanks

If the modules are never loaded, then they're never needed so no, you don't need them. _________________ "You have to invite me in" |
