I have tftp-hpa as a tftp server to get a network install running. I noticed I only can get it to work if I put the file world readable even though in.tftp is running as a root service. Why is that?

The man page says the default user the process is run as is "nobody", but why does it show in the process list as being run as root?

The service id is base on its startup script and config file. Maybe gentoo ebuild default it to root. I am not using tftp in my gentoo box now so I cannot be certain.
