|
|
hi all,
after installing latest xorg git, i've found that the module GLcore is no longer built as part of xorg-server. this means i can't even start X, as it gives me a libGLcore.so not found error.
help please?
thank you!

well, i've tried reinstalling xf86-video-ati (has always worked for my card), but how could mouse or keyboard drivers affect an opengl module? |

it moved to in mesa.
build the mesa, build the xserver,
then build the glcore in mesa directory.

You should also be using layman, if you're not already.
Code: | emerge layman
layman -L
layman -a x11 |

yes, sorry, forgot to add [SOLVED].
solved by emerging media-libs/mesa-glcore from the x11 overlay. |
