hi all,

after installing latest xorg git, i've found that the module GLcore is no longer built as part of xorg-server. this means i can't even start X, as it gives me a libGLcore.so not found error.

help please? :)

thank you!

well, i've tried reinstalling xf86-video-ati (has always worked for my card), but how could mouse or keyboard drivers affect an opengl module?

it moved to in mesa.
build the mesa, build the xserver,
then build the glcore in mesa directory.

You should also be using layman, if you're not already.

Code:
emerge layman
layman -L
layman -a x11

yes, sorry, forgot to add [SOLVED].

solved by emerging media-libs/mesa-glcore from the x11 overlay.
