I installed fprint and as root everything is gonign fine. I can use the reader to login. But when I want to use fprint_demo as normal user, these messages show up:
Code: |
libusb:error [initialize_device] read failed ret=-1 errno=9
fp:error [fp_discover_devs] couldn't enumerate USB devices, error -1
Could not discover devices
|
This user is in the usb group.
Is there something wrong with my settings? |

A permissions-problem. Can you see the device in "/dev/input?" What are its permissions?
Also check the system logs, e.g. "/var/log/messages." |
