hi,
ist es eigentlich möglich dateien wie zum beispiel videos von einem windows pc über netzwerk auf einer linxu-box wiederzugeben????

| ich hab dies via NFS (samba geht sicher auch) gelöst.. einfach verzeichnisse auf einen anderen Rechner mounten und dort abspielen lassen |

Hi
wenn du mittlerweile vlc nutzt, da gibt's auch einen Streaming-Server zu. Allerdings ist die Variante mit Samba schon deutlich einfacher

Hi
wenn du über smbmount auf eine Windowsfreigabbe zugreifen willst, LinNeighbourhood is einfach und gut.
Für den VideolanServer brauchst du nichts mounten
=> www.videolan.org

wieso willst du drumrum kommen? das is einmal eingerichtet, dann geht alles automatisch.. |
