well if i would reinstall it from scratch i could change back to ext3 right? so why install windows? or am i missing something? |

I tought that you had a Windows on your box....so it's not the case, so reinstall your Gentoo box from scratch and also repartition your HDD. |

That 2.6GB FAT32 partition at the end of the drive is probably a Windows recovery partition.
Maybe pressing a certain key during bootup made the BIOS decide to "recover" the factory installed OS. |
