I don't know if this problem is related to udev, but it's one that has cropped up after using udev for about a week. When I boot, it says that an fs check is forced on my / partition (ext3). Sorry, I don't remeber the exact wording, and I can't find anything in the logs. One time, it crapped out when I shut it down. It was an error from tar when it tried to store /dev in the archive. It was an alsa thing. I switched alsa using rc-update from boot to default, and I fixed the "Unable to restore mixer settings" problem. But now it seems I've developed this ext3 problem. Any ideas? |
