in fase di installazione mi chiedevo se arrivato alla scelta del profilo dovessi editare il file make.default , rispetto make.conf è un po scarsino come Use flag e tutto il resto!

no, lascialo pure stare lì com'è.
Tutte le personalizzazioni vanno in make.conf o nei vari /etc/portage/package.*

Grazie della risp...... aspetta pero non mi pare che l'handbook dica di configurare questi package* non li devo configurare io?
