Hey guys,
Iam looking for an easy way to monitor the traffic on my server..
The server is located on a LAN, with ports forwarded from the internet to the box for internet services such as http, ftp and rsync
Iam looking for an easy way to monitor the traffic on the box, if possible by location.. to seperate LAN traffic from WAN traffic...
I've seen some programs but they look to complicated for my problem... so what iam looking for is a simple program wich outputs the stats to a webpage, mysql or something similar
thx in advance! _________________ _ Got Root? _ |

You should install net-snmp and configure appropriate user and a password.
Then you should modify snmp settings under Management-->Devices in cacti web interface.
After cacti gets connected to snmp you add graphs under Graph management.
It also did not work for me at first, the problem was cacti couldn't connect to snmp. |
