Has anyone out there tried(successfully or not) to get the built in tv tuner on an ATI AIW(all in wonder) video card working. Just wanting to get some extra insight from other's experiences. Thank you. _________________ Long live the gentoo forums!!!!! |

Yea I have mine working just fine. I just installed the binary ati drivers from gatos.sf.net and avview, also from gatos.sf.net. I've never gotten any other tv viewing program to work though. |

You can check out the km module to get other programs that use the standard video for linux interface working with the tvwonders. I know it does work with xawtv.

I've gotten the TV-In to work with the gatos binaries....
I have been unsuccessful w/ the TV-Out function of the card. I'm currently building a MythTV settop box w/ an ATI AIW and need to find a solution to this aswell. Has anyone gotten TV-Out to work (without using the vesa driver)? _________________ "I am the iconoclast, an unconventional ecclectic who marches to the beat of a different drummer" - Brain |
