Hello,
I'm using a dual head system with radeon 7000 and radeon 9250 graphics cards (both PCI) - works perfectly. My motherboard (it's a dell server 2850) has a radeon 7000 build in. I have a spare monitor so I wanted to connect it to build in card, but after a few days of looking / reading / testing I am still in the same place - the system freeze after starting xorg. The funny thing is that X -probeonly does not shows any obvious errors and log looks good.
My general question is: Is it possible to use external graphics cards with build-in one? Have anybody managed to set up such system. If yes then please tell me how it is set up.
If someone is interested I can send my xorg.conf and xorg.log, but not now (sorry) I will not have access to this machine in next few days.
