OK, I have a bunch of presentations from a professor which I need to read for my exam and while the extension on all of them is ppt they seem to some format called OLE 2 Compound Document about which I have no idea. OpenOffice refuses to open them. If someone has an idea as to how open them, please tell me, this is quite urgent. _________________ Who shall guard the guards?

If I am correct, OLE2 means they have binary component embedded in them and you need a MS Windows machine, XP for example, to open them correctly. |

Hmm, it seems that the slides that the professor gave were corrupted, as they could not open on MS Office as well. And as for OLE2 Compound Documents, OOffice can open them. The slides that were correct opened without a problem. _________________ Who shall guard the guards? |
