Hello everyone.
I am running x86, ATI Radeon 7200, most recent X.org along with KDE 3.5.9. Drivers are ati-drivers 8.476.
I also have a dual-screen display which I set up using the ati tool (not with the 8.476 version though). I now forgot what the ati tool was called.. and couldn't find that :/
.xinitrc has startkde in it.
When I type 'startx' from command line (from which everything is fine), I get the normal X output and then X starts.. Sort of. Both screens go blank but not to power save.
From there, I can ssh into the box but I can't actually kill X.
This happened after a reboot (about 3-4 weeks uptime I think, maybe more) and who knows what updates I did in the meanwhile 
Any ideas? Need any more info?
