Is there some kind of gentoo-livecd with kde4? So that you don't have to start from zero but can just update it whenever you want to? Somethink like the suse kde 4 live or the old kde4daily cd?

You mean if there are bin packages for KDE4?
Never seen any for Gentoo. Regarding the live version, that would require Paludis binary support, which will soon be available, iirc, but is not yet there.
But since it is recommend to reinstall everything from KDE4 svn in one go, I don't see much benefit there, to be honest.
The problem is, that sometimes programs need a newer revision of their dependency, so if you for example want to recompile plasma, you should always recompile libplasma first.
So starting with some binary packages and then only updating the parts, that you want won't really work, at least not always.

Sorry, I didn't mean a binary install. Perhaps someone has a VirtualBox image of a gentoo-kde4. So that I don't have to create one myself and install a new gentoo + everything that is needed (paludis etc) first to get it running. I just want to start it, test it, after some days run a emerge kde4svn to compile the newest svn again.
