Keyboard output kind of slow

When I type on the keyboard the output is kind of slow. Is there any setting in xorg.conf or somewhere else to adjust the keyboard output speed?

If this is something that you did.

I made a mistake once and held a key down for a few seconds, this caused the key board to slow way down. I fixed it by doing this.

Go to the Control Panel - Regional & Accessibility - Accessibility-
There select < Keyboard Filters > unselect Use Slow Keys. If it is selected < don't use them > then apply.

This worked for me. Worth looking at.
