Im trying to emerge kdrive here is the error im getting

What is the difference between emergeing kdrive or emergeing xog-server with the kdrive USE flag.

The actual error is the bit just above this part (in general, if you're not sure, it's probably better to post more output rather than less, within reason of course).

x11-base/kdrive is very old, from the Xfree86 days, whereas xorg-server with the kdrive flag is the modern, maintained codebase. I'd suggest you try xorg-server's kdrive rather than worrying about the old version, unless you have a specific reason (if xorg-server installs more than you want, you could try setting the minimal flag and/or disabling the xorg flag).

Thanks for the Info. I already have xorg-server with the kdrive USE flag so ill stick with that. I just wasnt sure if there was a difference.
