Hello!
I have a Asus eee pc. I want to get fbcondecor working so that a shiny splash hides the messages.
I am using gentoo-sources with an acpi-patch and a network card patch for the eee.
Moreover I am using uvesafb and 915resolution to get 800x480 on the console.
The log file of 915resolution says, that 800x480 got set up correctly.
My bootoptions are | Code: | | splash=silent,fadein,theme:martin console=tty1 |
The file /etc/splash/martin/800x480.cfg contains the following:

I am not yet using an initrd because it doesn't make sense to have a not working splash from the beginning 
The image (which is in fact 800x480 and png) is loaded, but occurs quite strange.
I'll try to describe it: in the left corner is one really small version, below of that the same picture again. Below of that is one larger but the height is not as it should be, below the same as the one before but in the right ratio. Below is the image again, but now at half of the needed width.
Next to all of the pics is a small stripe with some strange colored lines.
The console text is displayed as it would be without fbcondecor started.
I don't know, where the problem is located. Maybe you are able to help me?
