Hi All,
I recently ran into a problem with my USB hard drive, please follow this thread:
http://www.sabayonlinux.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=57&t=13629
I was wondering if I can find some information on how to restore the USB service so it would recognize
my USB devices and automount them. Is there any documentation on how the Storage Media thing
works? Which files should I look at?
A sticky thread on mounting, USB and Storage Media would be nice, so we could find a way of recovering
things.
Thanks for helping. I would like to avoid reinstalling the system.

You first need to add the proper line to your /etc/fstab file. Also, this guide is a HOWTO on d-bus/hald. It has KDE sections in there, but if you follow the non-KDE parts, you should be able to get it up and running. _________________
