hello,
I tried to setup festival to use german mbrola voices. I emerged festival with mbrola useflag and LINGUAS set to "de".
Speech output with english voices, even the mbrola ones, works fine, but if I set | Code: | (set! voice_default 'voice_de1_mbrola)

in /etc/festival/siteinit.scm I get this error:

festival: fatal error exiting.

I noticed, that in /usr/share/festival/voices/german/ the only file is de1_mbrola/festvox/de1_mbrola.scm, while in the english/en*_mbrola/ directories there are symlinks to /opt/mbrola/us*. Putting such a symlink to /opt/mbrola/de1 into the de1_mbrola/ directory didn't help.
Also tried the ebuild from Bug 60262, no effect |
