Trying to emerge kde-meta after a fresh install from a Stage3 tarball. Get this message after syncing portage:
emerge kde-meta
Calculating dependencies... done!
>>> Verifying ebuild Manifests...
!!! A file listed in the manifest could not be found: /usr/portage/kde-base/kig/kig-4.0.3.ebuild
Switched servers in make.conf and completely deleted and rebuilt /usr/portage & var/cache/edb with the same results.
What's up with this?
Thanks,

The manifest was incorrect, it has been corrected.
Deleting /usr/portage/ and /var/cache/edb/ is not generally useful, aside from possibly avoiding corruption in the filesystem which should instead be repaired, it mostly just wastes time and network load. |

I have got the same problem,
but also with ark-4.0.3.
Today I had synced the portage tree and
then everything was OK. |
