Hi there,
I have an HP pavilion dv6000 series.
I'm trying to understand what went wrong when changing my display.
Before... everything was fine, exept for some bright pixels obviously...
After: there is something setting my lcd brightness very close to 0. I have no idea what.
When it came from the warehouse it was on minimum brightness. I managed to make it worked by pressing a lot of times the fn+f7 during boot. It did worked for a few reboots until I booted on battery. Now nothing is working...
I have tryied to install the thinkpad and toshiba acpi modules in order to use acpitool, but I can't insert the modules (error when inserting ... No such device).
If I connect to an external monitor, it's working fine.
Please..... HELP!
