Hello, have used beyond compare on windows but i am now looking for same sort of app that is linux native, anyone know of one?

Bit of an old thread but i will update it if anyone is in the same boat, i found that gnome has a nice app called Meld that works very well for file/dir comparisons and applying changes. _________________ Work Station - 64bit

I use Unison:
http://packages.gentoo.org/ebuilds/?unison-2.9.1
Which works across platforms, has a client and a server for Windows, works via local dir specs, SSH or RSH or even if worse comes to worst and there is nothing but TCP between the 2 hosts, it has its own proprietary protocol which will make it tick just via TCP. |
