I just noticed the profile use flag for glibc. First I thought it would optimize the library with profiling (-fgenerate-profile and -fuse-profile), but the output never contains one of those flags. Only in the configure part, "--enable-profile" is used. So, what does that flag do? |

I've seen that, but don't really understand what kind of "software performance analysis" it means" Probably something only interesting for developers? |
