Hallo!
Beim stöbern im Forum ist mir aufgefallen, daß viele eine Option CBUILD in ihrer make.conf stehen haben, ala CBUILD="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu"
Meine Frage: Kann man das relativ gefahrlos eintragen? Was macht das genau?
Man make.conf ist da ja nicht sehr informativ:

Das sagt mir nicht viel.
EDIT: Ich verstehe nicht ganz inwieweit das nicht schon von CFLAGS="x86_64-pc-linux-gnu" abgedeckt wird...

Das sagt mir nicht viel. |
"Do not set this yourself unless you know what you are doing" sollte schonmal Hinweis genug sein dass diese Variable nur in sehr bestimmten Fällen sinvoll ist. In diesem Fall nämlich wenn man eine "Cross-Cross-Toolchain" bauen will (eine Toolchain, die auf Architektur A gebaut wird, auf Architektur B läuft und Programme für Architektur C erstellt), was extrem selten der Fall sein dürfte. |
