It was all working fine before but suddenly I cannot ssh as normal user to my machine. The connection is accepted but it breaks down as soon as the connection is made. There are no error messages.ssh as root works fine. I am using openssh server.

- please provide the sshd_config file on the server you want to connect with

Found the problem. Its rather embarassing. I was fooling around with my .bash_profile a few weeks back when I added 'logout' at the end of it. So the ssh connection was being closed as soon as the connection was being made. Please close the thread |
