Hi,

I'd like to have a user witch can login with SSH an execute only one c++ program in the Terminal. If the App closes or terminates, the user should be logged off.

So I thought, it would be ease to modify the /etc/passwd file for this user.

I edited the login shell to my program.

If i do a su - user everything works. If I login by the TTY1 it say Password incorrect. By SSH too.

What is wrong ?

How can I solve this ?

Answer:

I had to edit
/etc/shells

!!!
