Hello,
I have gentoo-sources-2.6.25-r5 running with current tuxonice-patch 3.0-rc7.
After a "normal" start I have around 8000 fps with glxgears, after hibernate there is only around 3500 fps.
In "real" 3D-apps like ppracer fps is also lowered to the half.
Laptop is the Amilo Xi 1526 with Geforce Go 7600.
I tested Nvidia-drivers 173.14.09 and 177.13.
The kernel is compiled without AGP-support.
The nvidia-entry is commented out in /etc/hibernate/blacklisted-modules.
When stopping X after hibernate and then entering
| Code: | rmmod -f nvidia
modprobe nvidia |
and restarting X I have the full 8000 fps again.
With 2.6.23-tuxonice-r12 (this is also with tuxonice-3.0-rc7) this problem is not present.
Any ideas or does anybody have the same problem?
