logitech mediaboard pro (bluetooth)

Hi, I recently purchased a mediaboard pro.
I succeeded in making it work using this http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Use_an_Apple_wireless,_Bluetooth_keyboard HOWTO.
The problem is I cannot make it connect automatically at boot (nor can I make it connect after entering sleep mode).
I saw in somewhere the I need to add "hidd --server" to local.start but the only I get from that is an error saying
"Can't listen on HID control channel: Address already in use".
As I already mentioned, using "hidd --connect xx:xx:xx:xx:xx:xx" I can connect fine.
Any help will be appreciated.
