forcing flex to rebuild before pam in catalyst

Pam does not build unless flex is rebuilt first. is there a way to force flex to rebuild before pam during the build of stage3?
Bug i am trying to work around.

[update:] I've done this hack, I already had an up to date PAM and libfl.a on my amd64 system so while I was building the catalyst system i just paused the building then copied the /usr/lib64/libfl.a over to my catalyst tmp directory, and it is right now building pam, so it seems to be working right now... Will let you guys know if it works/boot/etc properly after this quick/hack.
