gento peformance vs. Suse Enterprise Realtime?

I am curious if anyone has taken a look at Suse Linux Enterprise Realtime and compared its performance to Gentoo. Benchmarks would be nice, but general experiences would be appreciated. Basically I'm doing a realtime application that has to respond rapidly, and I've used Gentoo since 2002 or so. I'm after whatever is fastest, of course, but as far as deadline performance goes, I've never tried to compare the standard Gentoo install with another linux distro that claims realtime.
