Hi Folks,
I was working on one of our production servers, and was moving around directories, some of them had weird names that were causing issues with our web based system, so I'm logged in by SSH to the remote live server to remove and change the names of this directories. One of them had a name like Child / (Child[space]/), so I try executing rm -r Child / and when I figured out what I just did it was too late...
Lucky me, the database seems to be there (I'm backing it up), and I'm still logged in through ssh, but all the commands binaries were deleted, I can't even execute cd nor ls.
I'm going to get my ass kicked tomorrow :S please if some one know what to do I would highly appreciate it. (I don't have direct access to the server, only through ssh).
THANKS! |

A statically compiled busybox [1] may come in handy to get your
system back up to speed.
