I need to build Gentoo, in order to use a 2.4 familiy kernel.
I can't do it, I'd tried everything, I can't recompile glibc with 2.4 headers.
I'm completely without ideas.
Ideas??

Which Version of glibc do you try to compile? It seems that glibc-2.5* is the last Version with Kernel 2.4 support (see the ebuilds). |

As you are talking abount *recompiling* glibc, are you trying to change a 2.6-kernel system to a 2.4 kernel? I doubt that this is a good idea, as other parts most likely also depend on a 2.6 kernel (udev, hal?, anything compiled with nptl support.. ). |
