Hello,

I am noticing the following boot messages whenever I reboot my system:

/var/lib/init.d/deptree = value too great for base


I won't bother printing the error token that follows since the value (error number) keeps changing with each reboot.

Anyway, help is needed

I have no idea what causes that :)
Try removing it, and running /sbin/depscan.sh -u

Failing that, try upgrading to openrc/baselayout-2
