Hi!
I just installed KDE 4.1 RC1 and the installation went all down smoothly. But when i try to start KDE 4.1 i get an error-message: "couldn't start dbus".
I have KDE 4.0.5 installed too and now it gives me the same error!
What can be the problem? Do i have to set new environment variables since qt4.4?(read that somewhere)
"Export" gives me: QTDIR="/usr/qt/3" --> that can't be right right!

Hi there !
What overlay are you using to install KDE 4.1 RC1 ?
KDE 4.1 is out since yesterday, I suggest you to install this one instead 
Verify that dbus is started as a service :
| Code: |
/etc/init.d/dbus status
|
and if not :
| Code: |
/etc/init.d/dbus start
rc-update add dbus default
|
