|
|
I just ordered a new Mini-Box (Jetway Versa J7F4K41G2E Mini-ITX), they system has only USB, HD (and CF not connected) - no OS is installed.
BIOS booting option:
LS120
Hard Disk (no OS so can not boot)
CDROM
ZIP120
USB-FDD
USB-ZIP
USB-CDROM
Legacy LAN
I've prepared (before system arrived Bootable USB stick) I was under impression that I'll be able to use it but NO GO.
I've tried "USB-FDD" but no luck.
What are my options of putting Gentoo on it?
The CF-200 card that is inside, it has to be plugged via ATA cable to as a second drove or CDROM?

I found the answer form Jetway Customer support Mr. Hua (it was a quick reply and worked like a charm), here is the solution:
1. Intergrated peripherals > OnChip device function > USB Legacy support >
ALL ON
2. save and exit > Plugin your USB device > Restart
3. Advance BIOS features > HD boot priority > Select your USB Devie
