IDE HDs not detected.

Greetings all.

I just got a new system set up. Gentoo is installed on SATA (software) RAID array. Everything seems to function fine except that none of my IDE drives (/dev/hda and /dev/hdb) aren't detected at boot-up.

The hard drives are detected on the Gentoo LiveCD so I suspect I may have just misconfigured the kernel but I'm not sure where I may have made the mistake. I have IDE support enabled as far as I can tell.

If anyone has some tips I would appreciate it.
