Ghostscript is borked

Ghostscript is completely hosed on my 64-bit system, at least that is the conclusion I have come to. Printing doesn't work, it errors out my printer every time (except for the CUPS test page) but prints without issue from Windows computers, print previews are broken in epiphany, and evince can no longer display postscript files. The only conclusion I have been able to come to is that ghostscript is broken. I tried upgrading to 8.63 but the problems persist. I've searched high and low and found some similar issues but no actual solutions. Has anyone else experienced similar ghostscript problems?
