I upgraded my amd laptop to the stable gnome-2.22.2. The upgrade pulled in gdm-2.20.7.
Code: |
gnome-base/gdm-2.20.7 USE="branding ipv6 pam tcpd xinerama -accessibility -afs -debug -dmx -gnome-keyring -remote (-selinux)"
|
In my syslog file after a reboot and/or shutdown I get:
Code: |

gdm[7952]: CRITICAL: gdm_connection_close: assertion `conn != NULL' failed

The first three lines starting with CRITICAL are echoed to the console just prior to the splash screen taking over when the laptop is rebooted or shutdown. Are there any ideas as to what's causing the WARNINGS? At this point they seem to be just annoying, but I suspect they shouldn't be present. |
