I have just reinstalled my gentoo and I'm running the latest gentoo kernel and xfree-drm radeon module. When I run glxgears, everything seem to be ok, about 1380 FPS, this is the score I had before.
But when I try to launch mplayer with -vo xv I get :
Code: |
Xlib: extension "XFree86-VidModeExtension" missing on display ":0.0".
vo: X11 running at 1024x768 with depth 16 and 16 bpp (":0.0" => local display)
Xlib: extension "XVideo" missing on display ":0.0".
Sorry, Xv not supported by this X11 version/driver
******** Try with -vo x11 or -vo sdl *********
Error opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device.
|
Note : it works with -vo gl2 but it worked before with the xv extension
When I try to launch a dockapp I get :
Code: |
Xlib: extension "SHAPE" missing on display ":0.0".
Xlib: extension "SHAPE" missing on display ":0.0".
|
What am I supposed to do re-emerging xfree ?? |
