|
|
I have been using the new Xorg hotplugging now for months and it was working quite well.
Today I was experimenting with connecting my PS3-controller via Blutetooth to my laptop and that works, too.
But I don't want it to be automatically recognized by my Xorg server as a mouse. What can I do about this?
I know, that there are configuration files for HAL that configure my device and I can set the drivername there, but I can't find any option for Xorg to ignore my controller.
Is there any solution except disabling input hotplugging? I have been searching for hours on google now, but no solution.
I want to use the controller for gaming and NOT as mouse for my desktop. |

woah... how'd you get it to be recognized as a mouse?
currently using my new sixaxis for gaming (pushing buttons/axes otherwise does nothing normally - what you want).
ompload your Xorg.log... it should be a joystick device, not a mouse.
