|
|
So ill be using WPA to connect to my uni network, ive done this in windows plenty but not in linux.
Settings are:
EAP-PEAP with MSCHAPv2
In windows, on first connect i get prompted for a:
username
password
domain
When i take a look in wpa_supplicant.conf.example (or online guides) i see there is a username, password and certificate option.
So my question is, how do i specify the domain? is this required or just a junky windows thing (im pretty sure its required), and secondly, how to i make a certificate.pem file?
Any other tips would be great,
cheers. |

I'm not 100% if it's the same, but openssl can be used to create self signed certificates. Looking into openssl might give you a hint as to what is needed. |

Try leaving it out. It might not be necessary. _________________

Of course, once the compile finishes, the executables are exported from the sandbox and (by default) added to the world profile. |
