So ill be using WPA to connect to my uni network, ive done this in windows plenty but not in linux.

Settings are:
EAP-PEAP with MSCHAPv2

In windows, on first connect i get prompted for a:
username
password
domain

When i take a look in wpa_supplicant.conf.example (or online guides) i see there is a username, password and certificate option.

So my question is, how do i specify the domain? is this required or just a junky windows thing (im pretty sure its required), and secondly, how to i make a certificate.pem file?

Any other tips would be great,
cheers.

I'm not 100% if it's the same, but openssl can be used to create self signed certificates. Looking into openssl might give you a hint as to what is needed.

Try leaving it out. It might not be necessary.

Of course, once the compile finishes, the executables are exported from the sandbox and (by default) added to the world profile.
