One of the most frustrating things... Mysql for some reason quit, but I can't get an error message other then (1).
This is all it gives me...

richie ~ # /etc/init.d/mysql start
* Starting mysql ...
* Starting mysql (/etc/mysql/my.cnf)
* MySQL NOT started (1) [ !! ]

/var/log/mysql is no help either...

Dmesg and /var/messages don't provide any help =(

Is there any advice to getting the server back online? Or at least finding out what the error is?

What happens... I get a meaningful error on exactly what's wrong....
And have the problem fixed 15 seconds later!  Thank you!!!!
