Make sure you have compiled support for your filesystem (ext2/3, reiserfs, etc.), IDE (or SATA if you use it) disks in general, as well as support for your IDE (or SATA) chipset in to the kernel, not as a module. Also, be sure that grub.conf is configured properly and points to the proper disks. |
